An Email to the Seniors
Dear all,
How are you people? Hope life's treating you good =) Had a short chat with Mel on the phone this afternoon, thus decided to draft this little email. (Pls help forward to Shidah and others who didn't receive this. Thanks!) Hmm.. I know the results were out last friday; hope you people are happy with your grades =).
I just wish to share one lesson I've learnt in life: where we are now is not as important as where we wantto go. Sometimes, we might have to take a longer ormore difficult path to reach where we want to be - but this is ok, as long as we never give up we will definitely get there - nobody can stop us except ourselves. [heh I sent 11 online applications and wentfor 2 interviews over a span of 2 years before I gotto be a teacher]
Our life is a summation of the decisions we make. We can choose to work hard or to give up. But as always I urge you all to always do your best, don't let thosewho care about us down, and much more importantly -never ever let ourselves down.
"I admit life's a constant struggle. But I have seenordinary people overcome seemly insurmountable odds. I know and accept that hurt and pain are part of living life but more importantly I know that they make us stronger, make us cherish and appreciate life. Therefore I simply cannot find it in myself to believe that we have come so far just to give up.. just to lose."
I am proud of all of you, I know you all have so much potential and so much to offer. Continue believing inyourselves. All the best in whatever you do and havethe courage and determination to always do what's right.
